Went to Andrew Howson's funeral today. It was so sad. He was a smart, funny, kind man and I'll miss him. I'm glad I went, as I had the chance to say goodbye. I don't really know what else to say. It came out of nowhere really.
I'm glad Karen and Andy were there for me today. I know you guys woulda been there if you had known him.

He was a brilliant guy. Really friendly, outgoing and helpful. We were gonna meet up in the hols and he was gonna give me surfing lessons :( His house was right on the beach. He was in one of my classes with me, Karen wrote notes for him for the lecture. He was really nice. Killed in a road accident. Don't know too many details.
