People, I don't know if you've heard about this CONTEST but there's totally a contest happening! And today, ithe deadline is officially one month away! And there's prizes! Like a dragon necklace and banana stickers and possibly a real-life Deddy bear and maybe a bunch of hilariously bad drawings by me! There's no prompt, so be wild and free with your imaginations!
w_the_polluter - Holy God, sorry this has taken forever. I'm going to cut my part of that "essay" from the Google group, and I'm waiting to hear back from moogle_maniac so I can post her part, or get her to do it.
I want to make some icons for the group, and hopefully I'll get to that this week- anyone have any Metalocalypse Toki/Pickles scenes they'd like to see in icon form?
I've been thinking about this all day, and I still can't pinpoint why
I adore them together. Misdreya, on LJ, wrote a really great, intense
drabble that totally solidified my love of P/T. HERE:

the two of them together because they're my favorite characters,
probably the original reason I put them together. But I also think one
of the reasons the pair of them would get along is because of their
daddy issues. I think Pickles could offer some sort of either
motherly or older- brotherly guidance to Toki. I think Toki needs
some sort of guidance, and that Pickles would be willing to offer it
to him.
And if we're talking SEXUAL relations here...I think Pickles would be
less likely to reject a man and Toki just wouldn't care.
And on top of all that, y'know, sheer-friggen hotness.
