Sure, that's a big "duh!" for many of you. But I am still appallingly amazed at how slick they think they are. And even more appalled at people who truly sucker into their tripe.

I once lost it during one of those phone calls and started yelling, "My GOD!! I can't believe you are STILL TALKING to me??!!" I think I then hung up.

Citibank reactivated my account without telling me 18 months after I cancelled it. I had to threaten them with fraud and demand a written statement saying my account was cancelled before they actually cancelled it.

As bad as they are, the medical insurance people are worse. Even if there were plenty of spots on the life raft, I would not let one of them in. Hell, I'd sacrifice my food rations to try to draw sharks to the area. Then I'd send them the bill for it.

Hm, I used to work in the medical billing department of the Kidney Mafia in Dallas. They WERE the sharks.
