[Those of you who know Kurapica only distantly may realize that for many of these plots concerning evil characters, he's been rather...isolated. He hasn't been conversing with so many people lately. First there was Lucifer making sins rampant, turning Kurapica's eyes scarlet as revenge for the slaughter of his clan pumped through him ceaselessly.

[A short pause.]
He has this... thing he does sometimes... where he goes berserker.

[Hey. Hey, Kurapica. Guess how Killua died.]

...The second time Severus purposely provoked him.
[And thus, the reason he's talking to Kurapica about it. Friend advice, pretty please.]

The group split up to deal with the different guards. Me, Severus, Negi, Vincent, and some other wizard stuck together until the end though. Sebastian tried to stop us. He's kind of a demon, used to work as a butler for a guy who disappeared, but now that that guy's gone... He's strong. Really strong. I can sneak around him, but I can't really touch him.
[And that's hard to admit.]
Severus got into Negi's head and had him go berserker so that we could get past him. I had to talk him back down. It involved more than just talking. We had a healer around, but if we hadn't... I'm not sure how well he would've done.

It initially goes against my thinking, but I can't blame him. After all, I've risked your life and Gon's in order to destroy an enemy... [Even now, it's a little difficult for him to remember how close he was to sacrificing his friends for revenge. Kurapica looks down, frowns, and looks quickly up again. Now's not the time; there are more pressing matters in this.]
Then, provided Negi ever entered this form again, we'd need a counter-measure: one that preferably didn't result in his death. And did Negi remember the fight?

He's glad he brought it up though, when Kurapica so swiftly moves to solve the problem. Talking it over in such a technical way is endlessly helpful in getting past it.]
Yeah. He remembered. At least, it seemed like he did. It's hard for me to fight him properly though, 'cause he uses electricity too.
