Summary: Orihime has inquired about planting flowers in Hueco Mundo, so Szayel Aporro decided to build her a garden to tend.
Since her inquiry about growing plants in the barren land of Hueco Mundo, Szayel Aporro had been hard at work creating a lovely garden for her to tend. (Well, his fraccion had been hard at work, at least.) It was far from finished, of course, but there were already cobbled walkways lined with colorful flowers, waterfalls flowing into ponds filled with fish and surrounded by fruit-bearing plants, and benches situated between rose bushes for a bit of simple relaxation. Though so little time had passed, many of the plants were already in bloom. There were patches of empty dirt all around that needed to be brought to life with vegetation, but all in all, a great deal of work had been done for the girl. Now, she could choose where to plant her supposedly special sunflowers.
The Octava Espada waited several minutes before leaving the garden, having told his fraccion to abandon their work for the time being. She had said she had a few things to do, and he wanted to give her appropriate time to finish before fetching her.
The trip to her room was uneventful. He passed a few stray arrancar wandering the corridors, but said nothing to any of them. They did little more than give him wary looks as he walked by. In no time, he had reached her quarters. He knocked softly to announce his arrival before opening the door.
