Characters: Kon, Yahanshu Annai, OPEN When: Backdated to Friday afternoon, July 16th Where: Living Realm Rating: PG-13 Summary: Pluses: Still scarce. Hollows, on the other hand...
He really hated dodging Hollows. With his reiatsu-sensing ability fixed, Kon had been able to avoid the creatures pretty well until now. Maybe when they were desperate, Hollows were more observant. Kon hadn't seen a plus soul in some time
( ... )
Unfortunately for Kon, Annai had definitely noticed him. He was still trying to recall why he seemed so familiar. Well, it would be something to figure out later. Keeping a mental tab on where the orange-haired youth was, the Shinigami settled his gaze upon the incoming Hollow.
He dropped his right hand over the dark crimson wrapped hilt of his weapon, thumb easing the blade out an inch. Annai leaned into a dash, hair and scarf whipping in his wake as he broke into Shunpo after several steps. There was a sharp ring of metal as he brandished his blade but split seconds before he seemingly reappeared again, much closer to the Hollow, and not having altered course at all. He seemed to prefer a direct approach, and seemed undaunted as he swung Yasuri no Kenpu at the creature's gaping maw.
Kon kept close tabs on the fight while he hid. Or, at least, as close as he could without hopping back onto the roof to actually watch what was going on. He was not getting into the middle of that. After all, he was hiding for a reason.
The shinigami's reiatsu flared up, and it seemed plenty strong enough to take care of the Hollow. How nice to have a decision of his validated for a change. He really wished that it would happen to him more often. Hadn't he been through enough?
The two reiatsu signatures rapidly closed with each other, and Kon instinctively ducked down to avoid any involvement. As long as the fight stayed up on the rooftops, he wouldn't have to contribute or even be seen. That was really better for everyone. No more shinigami needed to know about him.
((OOC: Sorry this took so long; I was drawing a blank since Kon isn't the type to go ahead and get involved in a fight. But feel free to knock the Hollow down onto the street or whatever and give Kon no choice. :D))
