A Morning Stroll

Characters: Chad, Halibel, Sun-Sun, OPEN
When: July 20th, 2009 - Morning
Where: Seireitei - Soul Society
Rating: PG (subject to change?)
Summary: Halibel is bored wishes to observe Seireitei and discover why the noise level seems to be at a lull. She brings her Fraccion, Sun-Sun, with her. Like she's going to leave her alone anywhere near Szayel.

Halibel wasn't a suspicious woman by nature. However, being aware of one's surroundings and the unusual changes that inevitably mark trouble are vital for survival no matter where you stand, be it in the realm of humans, shinigami, or Hollows. One can't expect Soul Society to be a constant hotbed of noise and activity, naturally, but when things begin to decline, it's always worth finding out why.

And if all is peaceful, then a reminder as to the cause of that peace cannot hurt.

The morning sky tears open in the east, casting two shapely shadows upon the ground stretched out in the light of dawn. Halibel had no wish to be ostentatious by appearing in a heavily populated part of the Seireitei, but neither did she wish to appear 'sneaky', for such would raise an alarm. It was a casual visit of observation and nothing more, a favor to Stark as well for his past assistance. He could remain in bed, asleep, while she came to get a good look at this strange place.

Lighting to the paved stone with a graceful step, Halibel walked forward at an unhurried pace. She liked the sun, and the summer heat would warm her dusky skin before long. There was something almost nostalgic about that feeling which she couldn't quite recall, a memory always just out of reach that could only be skimmed by the tips of her fingers. Halibel meant to enjoy what she could of the day. Realms above knew she didn't get the opportunity often enough.

"Come, Sun-Sun," she spoke mildly, awaiting her Fraccion's presence before continuing onward.
