Okay, I've calmed down since this morning. LOL My god, the ending totally made me want to throw chairs. You've definitely made a chill/patient Jessica before but I feel like this Jessica deserves an award just for having to deal with such a dense/emo/STUPID Taeyeon. I can feel the turn. The discord between Taeyeon and Jessica are no longer within the realm of light, bouncy and lively fancies of infatuation, and enters into the territories of soft clashes of deep dents and bruises. Their respective bubbles are ironclad, and they keep deflecting against each other. The TaengSic emerges from underneath the priming veneer. WooOooh.

Taeng's in a bubble of guilt and abandonment, and J's in a bubble of narcissistic lack of self-awareness. The former lies to herself, and the latter is competing instead of communicating. With a dog btw, tsk.

I'm very curious to see how you untangle this puzzle. How will they connect into each other's realities? There must be a device, a breakthrough.

Actually, I wouldn't say J lacks self-awareness. That's Taeyeon. Unwillingness to listen (as Taeng noted) and a lack of emotional engagement, that's J. I did say, I don't juggle well. Good thing I'm talented at redirecting attention ayyyy

I do very much admire your craft here, particularly in the complex character-building game you've brought to this fic. I feel like you've always excelled in writing relationships and dialogue, but here, on top of those things, you're putting additional care into directing the flow of feelings through colors, textures, rhythm and metaphors/similes (befitting a love story) and it's a true pleasure to read. The words really sing.

I can particularly see that in oh, how Jessica blossoms here, showing off her full power of seduction. It's like seeing a peacock strut his stuff, a lesbian version of that yaaaassss. Taeyeon is one powerful dud B-)

Omg thank you for appreciating what nonsense I put y'all through. I never consciously try to make my characters complex (guess it's harder to see from the outside for stuff like this), but I like layers. Layers are good. They make the writing experience fun for me. Multishots really appeal to me for the stuff you've listed. In a short sequence of chapters, I can develop this love story in any way I want. I'd love for my words to keep singing for you~
