Ha, those were actually the books they were discussing. I just finished the third one last week, and the ending blew me away.

Checkers, did you ever read Suzanne Collins' Hunger Games series? I don't remember if we talked about it yet. And can't seem how to thoroughly search through livejournal posts.

Yes, I've read them and love them. They are the rage at my school right now--even the teachers are reading them. I worry a little about the younger kids reading them, I thought they were awfully violent. Have you read them? If so, what did you think?
