On Sunday my traveling companions and I went to the Young Adult Author Breakfast, sponsored by YALSA. We had no idea what to expect and as we entered we saw that each table had two spaces with signs that said "Reserved For Author." ( Read more... )

Wow, beware the wrath of the librarians without coffee! :) The breakfast sounds cool but I bet I'd dislike it if I was the author. I think I'd feel like a travelling circus freak.

I felt sorry for the authors. What a grueling schedule for them. At least they could pretty much be guaranteed that they'd be surrounded by fangirls/boys, not by severe critics.

I didn't mention that to get it to work I had to hold the computer up really high in the air. :) My arms got tired.
