Today marks three weeks that I've been in D.C. and to be honest friends, I'm a little frustrated. Still no job leads, no interviews except for a temp agency, and the money I have is slowly slipping away. I do so hope you make DC's roller derby team. I'm actually going again this Friday; to a double header no less!
But, I don't want you to lose confidence in yourself. There's got to be someone looking to take on someone as smart and ambitious as you there. I mean, come on, it's DC.
As for Ike, I don't know how my exact house has fared. My folks went to Arkansas to dodge that bullet and my brother's in San Marcos so I'm sure he's all right.
