First thing, I really loved the way you structured this, using the elements of the drink and weaving the story to fit.

Second, I totally love Bones' being taken with Jim's eyes, how he's so aware of Jim, his ability as captain, his refusal to see to his own needs, and his self-recrimination. Yet, Bones doesn't coddle him.
