I totally agree with you about bodyswap! That whole having-sex-with-yourself thing always just plain weirds me out, and people tend to get so caught up in writing the sex that the forget about how freaking bizarre that'd be.

Wingfic - agreed! I mean, wings are freaking awesome, don't get me wrong, but I just don't get it as a kink.

It can be really well done, bodyswap, but a lot of the time it's just gets massively, massively weird.

The accidentally-married thread is making my life. I've already reread it like five times and I only tumbled into the fandom two or three days ago. I've found so many interesting WIPs on that meme, but that one is my favorite.

Curtain fic is kind of lovely, I have to admit. When I saw that I immediately started thinking about the curtain fic to end all curtain fics, which obviously is bexless' Nestyverse with Gerard and Frank being roomies and insane. They are the best when it starts out dubious though, so I suppose one of my very, very favorite tropes is people who hate or dislike or don't understand each other who then realize they want to screw each other's brains out. :D
