I have the worst oral fixation known to man. Seriously, I'm not hungry and I haven't been for the past couple of days, but I keep eating (and/or chewing on my fingernails) just because I need something to nibble on, and when I'm not, I keep fiddling with EVERYTHING, because I need to keep my hands occupied as well. Grah.

Many spoilers!

We sat Batman over the weekend, and... Eh. Heath Ledger was AMAZING as the Joker, but Christian Bale is a silly Batman with a gravely voice. He's a great Bruce Wayne, but an awful Batman, and this movie was all Batman. Plus, it was too long, too scary, too dark, and too rambly. PLUS plus, the only women in it were killed, crying, or evil. Bah.

I do love me some Commissioner Gordon, though. The whole theater clapped when he turned out not to be dead after all.

It's weird when there is too much Batman in a Batman movie. I agree on most of that, though -- I didn't find it very scary at all, but it was too long and rambly, and the way it was shot and lit made it really difficult to see what was what on screen.It was like the first one in that it takes itself way too seriously. I mean, technically speaking it's miles better than the old Batman movies, but at least they had some sort of self-distance. These movies doesn't, at all.

It's GARY OLDMAN, what else is to be expected? ♥

His Batman voice irritates me to no end.

It really does! He sounds like he's got water in his lungs, and you can barely make out what he's saying. They should subtitle the dude when he's in costume, seriously.

I liked the movie enough to see it twice.

... but the Batmanvoice was just annoying.

I may rent it on DVD when it's out, but I don't think I'll see it in the theatre any time soon.

I could barely hear what he was saying! He was growling so much, I thought he had a sore throat!
