How to beat the stinkies...

I'm done pretending that "mineral salt" is acceptable form of deodorant. I've been using it for years with results that I was satisfied with but still seem to offend others. So I'm looking to change brands here. Anyone know a good cruelty-free deodorant that isn't "scented" with that awful fake cologne smell?

vegan products, health, ethical products

I use Nature's Gate Organics. It works well for me, but sometimes my husband still complains. However if you are willing to reapply at least once, it's fine.

we (husband and i) use mitchum. there's an unscented variety. but even the scents aren't as offensive as some scents.

LUSH has a bunch of deodorants that work really well, and Aromacreme is the strongest one. I put it on in the morning and can still smell it there the next day when I wake up! It's also free of preservatives, completely cruelty-free and totally vegan.

Only thing is that I don't recommend it for sensitive skin. If you tend to get easily irritated by lychee, then go with Aromaco or Aromarant instead.

i second! i love The Greeench. I use it for my stinky shoes too. also if just sweating is an issue i used a cotton unscented one from Trader Joes and it just absorbs moisture. now i only use it on days when i care.

I commented to second baking soda above, but another good idea is a deodorant rock. They last a long time and you can get one really cheap on amazon. [like $1]

I'm too active for it. I've been using it for years. Between getting to work on a bike and working in a woodshop, I'm foul by 10 in the morning. I just got a new job where my hippie tendencies are a little more conspicuous so I need to graduate to something stronger.

The only natural I've found to work is Kiss My Face Liquid Rock (there is an unscented version). I've tried other chystals, which didn't work much, if at all, and Lush, which worked but broke me out big-time. It saddens me to have to use a product packaged in so much plastic, though.
