Whew. Just squeaked this in before May.

All the usual disclaimers apply. Do I really have to repeat them? The characters aren't mine, yada, yada, yada . . .

Could you "cut" (yes, bad, bad, inappropriate pun) any closer? Yes, I'm sure you could. Imagine Dr. Careless-Killer having a nano-second's twinge of possible humanity? Nah.

Lucy has to be haunted by Ryan's voice, eyes, you name it. Now Felix is right there with her. And yes, we all know how... tempermental the power is on certain Mexican islands. That's the risk you take, Caleb (along with an impromptu family reunion).

As for Ryan, talk about utterly helpless.

Tick-tock. Time's up. Now, if anyone from Social Services is nearby to see the Mayan Ruins or scuba, it could get very, very ugly! (Btw, is it possible for Caleb to become the new guinea pig and still make medical history?)

Thanks for making the deadline- and in a short month!

Oooh . . . Caleb taking Ryan's place on the operating table! Intriguing. Maybe I should change my planned ending (although saying that I've planned the ending is stretching it. At this point, I'm just following the characters, and you know what a meandering route the Cohens are taking. Whew!

You know the saying about the best laid plans... An ending, really? It had so better not involve poor Ryan as a perpetual extra in the endless "Planet of the Apes" remakes as the lobotomized human sightseeing at the Statue of Liberty- sort of. ; ) But Caleb on the table instead? Priceless. Of course he couldn't be mistaken for "Brandon," but he does have this pattern of abusing money and power and doing unspeakable things to others, so if there is karma and justice... As for anyone from DCFS/Social Services being on vacation in Cozumel or making a "surprise!" visit to Casa Cohen upon their return (however that happens and whoever returns), and Ryan's best case scenario, good luck with that. Nothing short of extreme miracles will do with the "meandering" clueless Cohens.

Well, let's see . . . how do you define "serious"? :)

Thanks for reading!

My heart is pounding, but OMG - so very close to the conclusion.

Still, does that means I have to wait until the end of June to find out if Ryan survives? I may not survive!

Think how Ryan feels! He's been languishing in that damn clinic for years!
