That's pretty cool that OP and New Nephew will have almost the same birthday!

We are all fighting some sort of cold. Every time we start feel better, the next day the cold laughs at us and says, no.

I know that one, I'm just hoping that nose stops dripping before my job interview tomorrow.

In re: your other news, I'm sure that, in the long run, whether OP has or does not have a cupcake on her birthday will be of little import. Unless she develops some psychosis over it, in which, like everything, it'll be all your fault. :-)

Forgot to add: Glad that the party went well! We are definitely having Cecilia's party out of our house this year. We might be doing a double birthday party with her friend Charlie to save us all from filling up a whole weekend with their birthday parties, but I have to see. The big room seems to be a good idea.

Best decision we made. I'm not sure we'll do it again, but for the first one, I wanted everyone to be able to see her eat (or not eat) the cupcake.
