At 6 weeks, OP is officially over birth weight at 8lbs 11oz which puts her solidly in the 18th percentile. She is in the 44th percentile, however, for height at 21 1/2 inches. What sort of daycare situation do you have?

I am curious about such things as I totally didn't realize how crazy it can be to find a good place and we are lucky that the woman who watches Cecilia is good because she was pretty much our only option.

We are on a waiting list for our first choice with the YMCA. It's an amazing daycare but it doesn't look like we'll be in until May. Granted I did get put on the waiting list at 12 weeks pregnant so you would think that we'd be in sooner. It's not like we live in NYC or anything.

On Feb 16 OP starts at the second choice daycare which is part of the Childtime conglomeration (http://www.childtime.com/). We liked them a lot so it's a good second choice. Who knows, she may stay there permanently if we are really happy.
