Getting old

One of the first signs of getting old: listening compulsively to music from a previous decade that you actually lived through.

I've been listening to the 90's station on my cable box for the past 4 days straight and let me tell you.... the 90's had some of the best music ever. EVER. And to think these songs used to actually be on the radio.::sigh

I am so with you. I've been playing the 80's & 90's playlist on my iPod lately. And you're right. Excellent music. Pretty soon we'll have an all 80's and 90's station on the radio to go with our parent's 50's, 60's, and 70's. We're bordering on having our own "oldies" channel.

*sigh*

And considering our childhood has become Halloween costumes....

"The 90's had some of the best music ever. EVER."

And I have co-workers at the bowling alley that complain about that noise I call music on Friday and Saturday nights, stating that the 60s had REAL music. It's just silly to call older or newer music trash, it's just not your style.

Now video games, that's a different story. It's proven that no game will ever be better than Super Metroid. Fact. :-p
