I just watched From Dusk Till Dawn last night, and I must say I liked it. It was not the best film, though. I know it was like a parody, so I am not holding that against it, but I just dont' think it was as good as it could have been. I really think they could have taken the first half of the movie, like before they got to the bar and vampires

When I saw From Dusk Till Dawn, I didn't know about the twist, so for the first half, I kept thinking, 'Well, this is great, but why was it in the horror section?' Little did I know, Selma Hayek was a vampire. 0_o

I probably said 'What the hell?' 20 times after that.

I kind of think the first half was better made; very Tarantino-ish, though the vampires bit was hilarious. I suppose it works in that it confuses the hell out of someone who doesn't suspect what'll happen, though.

Hope you get a copy of KB2... it's great.

Yeah, thats how I felt about the movie. I knew about the twist, but I still said "What the Hell?" a lot...:p It was freakin' hilarious in the end, though...

Yes! I got KB2!!!!!!!! *dances(like Vincent Vega, of course)*

I am a BIG Tarintino fan...though its rather recent, so I have not seen all his movies(I haven't seen True Romance or Natural Born Killers, I think I'm gonna rent them wed...or one of them, at least). Now, off to watch KB2...and at the risk of sounding extremely gay...squee!!!!!

I have to see Reservoir Dogs. I was talking to a guy at my dad's Sunday night baseball, and he was all, "Kill Bill was alright, but wasn't up to par for a QT movie." After seeing KB2, I completely agree with him. He went on about Reservoir Dogs, though.

Is QT extremely horror-ish? Cuz I'm not really into horror movies. More action, really.

Yes, KB2 is GREAT! I'm gonna write and entry about it to! Hell yeah!

And yes, you HAVE to see Reservoir Dogs. Its my personal favorite QT movie. I got the Mr. Pink Special Edition DVD about two weeks ago! (You'll find that, contrary to Tiff's view of Mr. Orange being the best, Mr. Pink is by far the coolest!) Then, after you see Reservoir Dogs, watch Pulp Fiction...fabulous...then Jackie Brown...and then, you should be hoooked, so you'll find the others he has written on and such no problem!

He is far from horror-ish...From Dusk Till Dawn was just a movie he wrote the screenplay for and acted in. He's a more action kinda guy...though he has that distinct style where he develops plot and action the way he does...it makes it not mindless action...just watch Reservoir Dogs! Its so great!
