Quaker Pagan ponderings

I feel like I need a new icon for my Quaker-related posts. Something with a grey bonnet, perhaps?

EDIT: trying one out. Do you like?

Chavala, how cool to see a link to our blog on yours! And I agree with you--Marshall's comment on the Ents was right on target. I'll go farther, and say that Merry and Pippin's reaction to an Entmoot--where it takes all day just to say good morning--is a lot like mine was to my first Meeting for Worship for Business. All very reverent, but, well... face it. Quakers seeking Unity are a lot less interesting than watching paint dry.

Not that I'd have it any other way! Despite the fact that Pagan business meetings are generally very interesting, I'm not sure it's a great idea for a community to make its decisions via a form of blood sport. ;>

(I know--not all Pagan groups have bitter and nasty business meetings. But I've been to enough of the ones that would be highly rated as reality TV to know how bad we can get! Makes the Ents look pretty good!)

Here's hoping you have a wonderful Quaker-Pagan meeting for worship. And happy Lammas, a little early.

Blessings,
Cat
