i don't know if there's a trope for this or not but I hate it when TV shows have a woman in labor go "eek" twice and push twice and presto, there's a baby. A lot of TV shows do this and uh, no.
You have a crush on your friend? Man, that's tough.
I've never been though labour myself, and I'm not particularly interested in the details of it, but TV labours are usually not realistic. It's *splash* "MY WATER BROKE!" *rushes to hospital* "GNNNHHHHFF! AAAOW!" (usually with some funny comment somewhere between the pushing and the ow-ing) "Here's you baby!" Don't remember Darla's labour, but I can imagine it being a bit more realistic than in other shows.
Under the Dome is that Stephen King thing, right?
Go OB! And hopefully skins will get better soon. Real soon.
I have confused feelings for a friend that I mostly push way down :)I am thankful that I rarely get crushes on friends, because that can be awkward. I'd rather just enjoy the friendship.
The most recent one I remember for being unrealistic was Quinn's labour. I don't even understand the timing in that episode.
Yes. I don't know much other than it's a Stephen King thing, because I'm avoiding the spoilers :)
I still haven't watched Skins and I don't feel a strong urge too after reading a couple vague reactions.

Although the labour was better than most shows, the birth on Angel did fall into the "clean pretty childbirth" trope.
