I have a hard time imagining Lucy as a terror. She's so elfen.

You made me laugh - Lucy is TOTALLY elfin! She was an evil elf tonight, but I think I have conquered the public shame aspect of it after 4 kids. I just announce loudly that she is 2, laugh at her antics, and focus on her, her, her. People seem to be much more tolerant, or maybe I just don't give a flying shit anymore ;)

That's totally how I felt with Anya. Her tantrums were so above and beyond anything I'd ever seen before. I used to just pick her up and say, "It's so hard being two, isn't it?" and pretend like there wasn't a growing crowd of onlookers staring at my devil-baby.

Absolutely any judgments I had about other parents flew out the window when Anya came along. Up until then, I'd thought that Maya and Sagan were well-behaved in public because of something I'd done. Ha!
