their imaginary money moves and dips and flies and crashes and and burns and kills, but not them, the money guys, not directly, they aren't responsible, they are just making that elusive delusion called Money. No one is likeable in this movie, but all the actors give it a good try.

Steve Caroll makes millions, but somehow that is fine because his brother committed suicide and Caroll is upset about it.Completely pointless focus that served no point and didn't even justify the nature of his character since we already saw he was like that as a kid (arguing the tenets of the Torah). They cut out the scenes that dealt with Michael Burry's(Bale)home life. Should've done the same with that ( ... )

I was too busy thinking how great it was that these men were taking from the banks by playing them at their own game, but at what benefit? They didn't use their knowledge to fight back, talk about the practices, hold people's feet to the fire. They just took their millions and walked away, lamenting at the fact that the banking industry was willfully engaging in financial destruction. It was the ultimate, "Sucks to be you, the 99%".
