Естественно, я сначала тоже так подумал, но потом посмотрел, чем занимается ведущий автор, и теперь совершенно в этом не уверен. Мало того, я глянул, что происходит в других выпусках этого журнала; боюсь, надо признать шуткой весь журнал. Вернее, придется признавать шуткой, и довольно дурацкой, обширный комплекс разных взаимосвязанных явлений.

Кстати, если посмотреть заголовки этого журнала, вся эволюция как на ладони. До начала-середины девяностых там писали о сравнительно осмысленных проблемах. Потом потихоньку началось, и сейчас там сплошь вот такие шутки.

А чего welcome, мы в этом мире живем. Этот ученый - один из авторов IPCC, например. Как по процессу, так и по результатам понятно, что он там такой далеко не один, и это все отражается на нас более чем непосредственно.

Through a review and synthesis of a multi-disciplinary and wide-ranging literature on human-ice relations, this paper proposes a feminist glaciology framework to analyze human-glacier dynamics, glacier narratives and discourse, and claims to credibility and authority of glaciological knowledge through the lens of feminist studies.

Язык как язык, ничего особенного там нет, несмотря даже на использование богатого слова "эпистемология" в каждом втором абзаце. Другое дело, что написана полная хуйня, но что уж тут поделаешь. "Время такое". И от того, чем мне в институте голову морочили, отличается оно разве что в несущественных мелочах. Ну, там сопротивление материалов запихивали в марксистско-ленинско-философский framework, а тут - гляциологию в феминистский. Дел-то.
