The next few weeks went by normally, flowing like they should.

On Thursday, Alex arrived at Jack's house right on time, notebook in hand and a smirk on his lips.

"Ready?" the teacher asked and Jack nodded, forking in a pile of leftover noodles from a paper box.

"Smells good in here."

"Yeah, I literally just heated these," he gestured down to his dinner as Alex had a seat on his couch, hanging his sweat shirt on their coat rack.

"Give me a second," Jack said, running up the stairs and shuffling through his drawers to find his essay they'd been working on before and taking another minute to find a pencil with an eraser. When he returned, Alex had moved himself to the other side of the couch, relaxing back into it.

"You have the most comfortable furnature," Alex complimented, closing his eyes for a second and Jack stared at the space just above Alex's jeans. The little splat of skin that showed just under his shirt. It kind of looked perfect.

But Jack could not emphisize enough to himself that the man was nothing special.

"So," the younger said, snapping out of his thoughts. "Let's get shit done. I want to do stuff later."

Just as he ended his sentence, his phone went off in his pocket and he pulled it out to check the screen.

"Yeah?" he asked, flipping it open.

"Hey, I'm outside right now," Zack said with a giggle. "Let me in."

Jack's eyes opened wider. "Uh."

He made his way over to the door, shutting his phone and peeking out the peep hole.

Alex looked over in his direction with an eyebrow quirked. "Who is it?"

"A friend," Jack replyed before opening the door.

In the amount of time it took to unlock, open the door, and let Zack in, Alex had flipped himself over on the couch , legs hanging over the head rest and head hanging over the edge of the seat with a big Chesire Cat grin.

Before the youngest could say a word to Jack, he stopped, eyeing the teacher sprawled out on Jack's couch.

"What's he doing here?" Zack asked innocently and Jack rolled his eyes, not turning around to look considering the only one Zack could be asking about would be Alex.

"He's here to toutor me," Jack answered, turning then to shoot the teacher a look, eyes shooting open at Alex compromising postion.

"Really? That's not what it looks like," Zack pointed out, brows furrowing in the middle at the eldest. "Isn't he your English teacher?"

Jack nodded at him. "Alex, god. Sit up."

"Why?" The teacher asked, smirking at him subtly. "You said to make myself comfortable."

"I did not!" Jack argued, shooting him a look.

"I'm just going to go. I was here to remind you that I was leaving for Florida tomorrow and that I won't see you for a couple weeks," Zack said, running his fingers through his hair. "But it looks like you're a little busy here."

The youngest turned then, walking himself back to his car and Jack, never being a man of meaningful words, said nothing, shutting the door behind him.

"Are you pleased, Asshole?" Jack scolded, turning around and shooting Alex a harsh look, fire in his eyes.

"Peachy. Why?"

"Because, you're fucking up my life. I don't want to do this toutoring shit anymore; it's stupid," Jack said angrily, tromping into the kitchen with a scowl in his features and Alex's face fell. It only took him a second before the sly grin appeared again over his lips. He sat right, eyeing Jack in the kitchen.

"Come here," he demanded gently, meeting Jack's eyes through the archway.

The younger paused then, looking over at him with skeptical eyes. He did as he was told though, taking a few steps back toward the couch where Alex was staring at him.

It wasn't close enough though, it seemed because Alex gestured him closer and closer until he was only a foot or so away from the teacher.
Alex pulled him in then, rough enough to emit a squeak from the younger and he pressed his lips to Jack's ear.

"If you quit now, I'll fail you again, I swear to God," he warned, letting the boy go before cooling stand and retreating out the front door, giving Jack a wink before shutting it fully.

Jack let out a long breath then, his face turning white hot with embarassment.

Alex got home just in time to find Oli digging through a bag of chips and, when questioned, he answered that he was looking for the one that looked like Mother Threasa.

Alex laughed at him, taking a seat next to him on the couch and wrapping an arm around his neck.

"How did your shit go?" Oli asked, popping a chip in Alex's mouth and the teacher nodded as he chewed.

"Well, " he paused, putting a hand on Oli's knee, leaning into the older man and meeting his eyes. "You could say it was...prosperous."

"Oh yeah?" Oli asked, leaning in the rest of the way, just letting their lips touch before their front door opened, Tom walking in, bags of groceries in his arms.

"Oli, I couldn't find the crackers you wanted, and Alex, I picked you up some gummy worms," Tom said with a little smile but Alex let out a long breath as the older of the two got up to help his brother, blowing off the teacher and leaving him to sit there, pouting on the couch.
