Sam knocked quietly on the door, then used her key to open it. "Cedric? How's he doing?" Her arms were full of magazines, orange juice, chicken broth, crackers, and tylenol.

"Good evening," he says, coming over to help her with what she's carrying. "He's just had some...dream. He didn't want to talk about it."

"God," Sam looked worried, handing off some of the things she was carrying. "He was restless last night, too."

He deposits what she's given him on the desk and then wrings his hands together.

"He was up to take a shower," Cedric says, scratching at the back of his neck. "And fell back asleep easily but something about that dream upset him."

Parker rapped her knuckles very lightly on the doorframe, and peeked in. "Cedric?" she said softly. "How long has he been asleep?"

"A few hours," he says, smiling at her. "It seems to be a restful sleep."

Parker put a bottle of orange juice in the mini-fridge, then wandered back over to check on Jack. "Does he *finally* believe he's sick? He was trying to argue with me about it Wednesday night. This ought to convince him, but..."

"I don't believe he actually said he's sick," Cedric says, trying to recall. "But I think he knows he's not well."

For some unknown reason Isabel couldn't sleep. Wondering if Jack was okay, and worried that poor Cedric might need a break, she walked down to Jack's room and knocked quietly on the door.

Cedric barely hears the knock and rolls off the bed. He hadn't been sleeping but he hadn't been really paying attention to anything but Jack.

He opens it and blinks at the hall lights. "Isabel? Is everything all right?"

"Everything is fine. I can't sleep," Isabel admitted. "I know it's late but I figured since I'm up, I'd come down and check on him. And send you off to bed if it looks like you need it. You do."

"I'm all right..." Of course, that statement's broken up by a huge yawn. "Contrary to that, I'm all right."

He might be lying.
