No. Dating Roger is not a horrible thing. But apparently going to dinner with an old schoolmate is. Because it obviously can't be anything innocent...No. No way. Absolutely not. *rolls eyes*

Have fun at the game with Roger! I still don't know if I'm going or not. Depends on the ticket situation at work...

Thank you. Finally someone agrees with me.

And so I heard. Michael Corner, right? Was it a business-related thing?

I will as long as Oliver tries to play nice ahem. You should, it would be great. It would be exciting and unpredictable, which I love in a game. And we can go catch some drinks after, if you want. Sorry about annoying your department with tickets - just thought they would give me free tickets for being a player, you see.

It's not like anyone else should really have a say in who you date. The only exception, I think, is if it's some sort of harmful relationship. And I don't see you ever letting it get to that.

Yes. Michael Corner. It wasn't really business related. It was mainly just a dinner to catch up. See what he'd been up to all summer. Stuff like that. I mean, Ernie Macmillan was there for Merlin's sake.

If I don't make it to the game, I'd still love to go get those drinks after. And don't worry about it. I can understand you thinking you get tickets. I don't understand the paper pushers from every department thinking that they're entitled to tickets.

Yes, I know, it's just certain people keep on suggesting that it might be something I would regret later on, especially with the reputation he hashad.

Oh, I see. Nothing bad about that.

Definitely, that would be great. Just let me know when and where.

And I just heard about Finnigan - I'm sorry. I hope they find him.

He's not the kind of boy I would date, but I don't see anything wrong with it, really. And I hope you have a great time at the game, I hear it would be quite exciting.

Thanks - it's just that some people ahem Oliver, ahem, keep on implying that it's something I would regret. I don't know. I'm still thinking about it.

And yes I shall. Won't you be coming, too?

You never cease to make me laugh. Are you really asking that question? I mean, honestly, Kates, you do remember the Roger way back when, I suppose... Open your eyes and look at the nobhead before you, he is still the same pie-faced newt he was in Hogwarts.

Emnployee discounts of course! But how convenient, you're already going with the pig-headed bastard.

Yes, I do like name-calling, thanks for asking.

I'm actually back at the flat. We resolved a few things (after I dodged the lamp shade she hurled at me) and I do believe we're back on track.

I know that well, Oliver. Yes, I am, because you just made me unsure on what I put myself into. I remember, and it's making me think things over.

I think you broke a record - the most names for Roger Davis in one statement. Actually two statements. Never mind.

Well, it's not my fault he asked now, is it? I can't just back out the last minute, you know.

I swear, sometimes I don't know why men still want to go on dates with me. Surely they must know about my pathetic self.

Glad to hear. Though I have to say you deserved to have a lamp shade hurled at you.

I made you unsure? You know what they say, people won't make you feel inadequate without your consent.... Just pulling out another quotable quote from my book of old adages.

Nope, not your fault. Truly not.

You're an amazing girl, Kates. Stop kidding yourself.

Oh thank you so much for the support.
