Wow ... I've just read the first 3 chapters of this story and I've gotta tell you, you're an amazing writer. Both Luke and Gabriel's characterizations are spot on and I must admit that, while it had never even crossed my mind before, I love the idea of making them classmates.

Wow, thanks for your generous comment. :) I always worry about characterizations, so it's always nice to hear feedback on that subject.

I actually got the idea for this story from a dream I had. Luke and Gabriel were classmates and Luke liked Gabriel and there was something about them sharing cake... Anyways, I just woke up and fleshed out the dream.
