I loved it...

Hmm. I loved this. Unequivocally. I followed you here from Hard4Brains and was almost deliriously happy to see TFaTF fiction. I am a huge Dom/Brian fan [and a lover of crossovers] and would try to slog my way through the story regardless - because you just don't get enough D/B really - but you did something that all too many fan ficcers don't. You didn't assume that every one who would read the story would know all of the characters from the other show. I have never watched 'Brothers and Sisters' and probably won't because it's just not my kind of show. But you were able to differentiate the characters and make them individuals. I will admit for a minute or two there I thought Kevin and the 'gay brother' were different people, but that cleared up soon enough.
Really great effort and an enjoyable read. I would read your work any day. CC

I'm completely flattered that you followed me over from Hard4Brains and more importantly, glad that you weren't disappointed. Very happy to have satisfied both your crossover & D/B love. There are so many Walker's you definitely need a diagram. I am gratified that as a non-watcher you were still able to enjoy the fic.
Thank you for taking the time to let me know what you thought.
Thank you for this awesome addition to the (sadly shrinking) TFaTF fic that's available out there.
I've been a Brian/Dom shipper since the movie came out and, as Anonymous says above, I'll "slog my way through" most every story in the fandom I come across. This story was definitely NOT a slog.
It's wonderful to find an author still writing in the fandom. I'll be sure to check back to this journal frequently. *runs off to add blackberry belle to favorites*
You are quite welcome :-). Thank you for taking the time to comment. I suspect that once the new movie comes out there will be a resurgence of fic.
Small pimp - There are a couple other D/B fics that I've written in my memories. I'm just sayin'.
Most of the fandoms I write in, I'm a little late to the party so I am truly grateful to people who are still reading, taking the time to let me know and are interested in more. I'll try not to disappoint.
Wow, I so appreciate that and I suck for not responding more quickly. You have been very busy :-). Please stop w/the bowing you're making me blush.
I'm glad that you enjoyed this one, especially since you're a fan of B&S and you know the Walker's. I am extremely flattered that you took the time to read all that fic. Truly.
I am both a TFATF and a B&S fan, so I really enjoyed this crossover. Having Brian originally be Paul William Walker was a clever touch. Of course, there had to be a disastrous family dinner! I know this is a one-shot, but it made me want to read more about Brian and Dom interacting with the Walkers. For example, Nora enlisting Brian's help finding runaway Tommy or Brian being injured and the chaos that ensues with Dom and Nora trying to take care of him.
Yes, the family dinner is key. I regret that I couldn't get in one of those multiple party cell phone conversations.
I'm sorry for not replying sooner, was writing for a another fest that took a bit longer than I thought it would. Thanks very much for reading and feedbacking.
