This isn't a full commentary on the vid -- this is just a description of how the spot colorization effect (Vesper's red dress in the ending sequence, roughly 3:07-3:16) was achieved in After Effects.

Ooh, thank you ! I have to say I didn't understand about half of what you're saying here, mainly because I haven't opened up AE in my life, but I'm definitely saving this to my memories so I can refer back later. Thanks for the write-up!

Sorry for being so late to say this, but I love reading you describe your workflow. There's always something I can learn, and here's to hoping it will inspire me to get off my lazy arse and use AE more often. I'd love for you to keep it up in future.
