Who knew there's a big Persian enclave down in Texas? Is it cross-cultural oil trade?

Actually this is six languages, but the point is made. I had Spanish, Chinese and German in mind on my guesses.

That map doesn't agree with Wikipedia's own count - as of 14 November 2011, anyway.

I don't think that this ever was a list of the top languages in Wikipedia, just a geotaging of these particular languages. I can't see Swahili and Persian ever overtaking Spanish.

I'm just interested to see some people posting from the middle of nowhere. Some of those dots in Oz aren't even near water, let alone internet :P My guess is that they're community schools, which do have internet, still, isolated. Illustrates a lot about what I've been telling people about the importance of internet literacy in remote communities.
