Metres per hour make MUCH more sense to me than feet per hour, or any British unit per hour, for that matter. :)

I don't think the speed could possibly be in metres per hour. WP has the sailfish going 110,000 metres in an hour. I believe its in metres per second.

Yah, it's confusing, not so good for getting information quickly and clearly, but it is nice eye candy!

I'd say its pretty straight forward. Just an FYI, a metre is only a little more that yard (about 3 1/2 inches more). Hope that helps.
