After reading all the wonderful comments on this series, add my kudos! When I read Dean/Cas stories, I often skip the rest of the story where I don't see them together in scenes. I still did that here, but I loved the story so much that I eagerly went back. I guess it's like reading a novel, then jumping to the end, then reading backwards to fill in the details.

I'm new to reading fanfic because i just very recently got a computer. I see on your MasterPost that there are supposed to be other chapters after 5a and 5a Continued? Does this mean you just have the outline for these chapters and will write in detail later, or did you decide to just stop your postings at 5aContinued because it is good enough to end there? If it's the latter, then that's okay because a lot of times you can just end the story and leave readers in suspense and let them continue the story in their imagination.

Heh, there are some stories where I do that too, especially if I'm stuck long stretches where *neither* Dean or Cas are in the scene.

This is, unfortunately, a WIP, or work-in-progress, and there are many many more chapters to come. There's just RL stuff going on that is taking up my time and making me too exhausted to write. But, yes, it's outlined. It just needs to be filled in! But there's so much more story to tell, I haven't even gotten to the good stuff :D

Thanks for the kudos, and I promise I won't be abandoning this story forever.

I feel so awful!

Not abandoned, just too much RL stress and responsibilities for me to get in a groove. Just tag me for updates and forget about me until you get an email. I feel so awful. I love reading fic, and get so grumpy over good stories that have long waits between chapters, and seem to be forgotten or abandoned, and I am such a hypocrite, I know, for doing that very thing. I love this fic and have grand plans for it. I thank you for enjoying it, and hope that one of these months I can get back into it.

See my previous reply. My hope is to continue this, but for now I am on hiatus until RL sorts itself. I'm not a terribly fast writer, nor a good one, and it takes a lot for me to get in the mindset and have the time to stay in the mindset, and I just don't have that at my disposal right now.

So, put HL out of your mind for the time being, tag me on email updates, and you'll know when I've finally updated.'
