Audio converter help - I've come with my begging bowl out

Apr 18, 2007 08:48

Could anyone point me to a good DRM-protected audio converter? I remember sometime ago morgandawn posting a list? in vidding? but I can't find it anywhere. I have been using tunebite up until now but for some strange reason I've suddenly been getting lots of pops and crackles during conversion. Obviously, this is really not good, especially when it comes to vidding ( Read more... )

I don't remember making such a post (but then my memory isn't that reliable). I've used Mediacoder for most of my various audio and video conversions. But decryption....

Oh! I now remember! FairUseWMV. Let me look for it.

It might not have been you... I know it was a few months ago and it was posted in vidding either as a post or a helpful comment... Anyway, thank for those links, I'll go check them out.

I don't have a suggestion. I'm still using tunebite. If you want to send me one of the songs, I could run it through my copy of tunebite to see how it sounds.

Thanks for offering but this new program "WMAConvert" seems to be doing the trick. And already it's sounding better than tunebite! It's odd that after 12 months of using tunebite it suddenly goes weird but I definitely think it's a problem with my program. It probably wouldn't be very helpful you running a track through yours. I do a lot of converting and can hardly come to you every time I need something doing.
