And vids like this are the reason why you rule the universe and I suck! I hate you. Now excuse me while I go over in the corner and weep silently at my silly Scully attempts and curse your name profoundly. Thanks! [/end uncalled self-pity]

I never came around watching the last few eps of Hex, but this vid is so gorgeous and I think you throughout captured Thelma’s positive attitude regarding her afterlife. She wouldn’t change a thing even with all the pain she endured and losses she faced ultimately she is still herself, stronger than ever, not a sidekick anymore and ready to fight. I could be talking out of my ass without the second half of season 2 unseen, but your editing made Thelma so much part of the world around her, tied into it that she seems more alive than the rest of the bunch. Fantastic character study and wonderful video to watch on repeat, how come the show doesn’t seem so stupid when you vid it? I can’t wrap my head around that fact!

Hang on while I find my violin. Poor, poor Astarte! pfft. *rolls eyes* You don't have it in you to make a rubbish vid.

You did pretty much get what I was trying to say about Thelma. That she keeps going no matter what. You're right the last few eps were really odd but Thelma continued to be good value.

Actually this reminds me I still need to do that Sinchronicity vidlet for you. hmmm, first one of the new year I guess...

Glad you enjoyed it Steph. I definitely think Hex is worth checking out. It's not the best telly ever made but it's good fun and everyone loves Thelma!

Never seen this show or what it's about. When it comes to some vidders it doesn't really matter so much, but for every one of your vids to which I don't know the source, I just want to kick myself because there's so much there, and I know I'm missing it.

So, technical aspects only. I'm in perpetual awe of your mad pacing skills, and how beautifully your vids flow. I think it says a lot that I didn't notice the cutting all the way through - the way it's put together just looks so amazingly professional. My favourite bit is 1:32 with the stop-and-start drumming. The lull followed by the action is just gorgeous!

Loved how it built up toward the end, especially the love scenes ~2:00. Don't have a clue what it all means, but the momentum just takes my breath away.

Now I'll have to watch this show! :D A beautiful and accomplished video - but then, have you ever made one that wasn't? ;)

Thanks Nicky, I have picked up some rather obscure shows over the past couple of years. In some ways I prefer vidding lesser fandoms because I don't have to worry about overused footage I can just use what I want.

I'm glad you mentioned the pacing because, honestly, the first draft was truly hideous in that respect. It's nice to know that you appreciated it even though you don't know the show. I have some vid ideas for shows you do watch so hopefully there will be a vid you actually have the context for at some point!

Thanks for letting me know you liked it and I'm glad that it didn't ruin the show for you. Hopefully the vid will still seem good when you have seen all the eps.
