Wow thanks! I'm really glad you enjoyed it seeing as how it's my first Eleventh Era fic. Before I'd started watching Eleven, I'd been skeptical about River's character, just from the exposure I had in Season 4, but now, knowing her back story, that scene is way more poignant to me now!

Thanks again for your lovely wovely words!!

Oh my... This was powerful. I agree with what darklight90 said. It did have a poetic feel to it, and a range of emotions flowed seamlessly...

Your fic has made me want to write a River Song fic now...

Thanks! I'm glad that you got inspired :) River has become such a complex character to me now and I'm really excited to see what is in store for her.

Thanks so much :)

I really enjoyed this -well done. The confusion as melody realises that she can't complete her programming was very real, and of course those were the cracks.

It was so nice to read her pov of those last minutes in the library. And to see a positive, hopeful spin on it.

I'm very happy that you find it well done! :) I was exactly trying to portray Melody's confusion and how this segued into her becoming River and how all of this would be running through her mind (plus all those other Doctor/River times we don't know about) just as she was dying. Then for Ten to save her when she was still a relative stranger...that was lovely.

::beams:: Thank you so much!!! I loved that I got you to feel better (a bit) about those two episodes. After writing this story, the last scene of the Library became my favorite due to how poignant it was. I'm so happy that I did justice to this character that you could connect with her!! :)
