Review of Series 7 Finale Doctor Who

I’m going to start out saying that this has been the best episode in this series 7 run. This had way more than I expected, even with me setting my expectations low.

[do not read if haven't watcher the finale]I already knew that we weren’t going to get the name of the Doctor. It’s not something that I think anyone would give power to Moffat to do nor is it something that I think should be

I think you were channeling me with this review, I agree on every point. ;-)

Some people didn't appreciate River being there, and at first I was a bit blah. But when I realised she was River post-library I was pretty happy. River's death was largely ignored when Doctor Who became the River Song show, I was happy to see it addressed and given some resolution.

And the kiss was lovely. Just lovely.

Looking forward to November. I enjoy the speculation - and just hope Moffat doesn't screw us too badly.

Yeah, I'm hoping to cut Moffat some slack and he comes through. I mean, it can't be that bad if David Tennant's agreed to come back and seems to be having fun. He's such a fanboy
