Ohhhh....this is perfect. This indeed, seems to be the perfect metaphor for Eleven's plight. He seems to find himself alone more than ever - and this regen has more than enough problems it seems. But it is so very much like he cannot function or breathe anymore without those he holds dear.

Aww - you did a great job on this. It's really sad but then, the more I think about the Doctor the more he seems one of the saddest characters ever created. I liked how well you showed just what it does to him when he is left alone, and it was nice to have that hope at the end, with someone there to be his friend.

He really is a very sad character. I think that's what makes him so interesting to write because he acts happy all the time but he's actually really really sad.
