OMG, you're still alive. I'm sorry to hear the situation sucks so badly. If I were nearby, the husband and I would come and lend a hand, but... Chicago-area to DC-area is a bit of a haul.
I'm around if you want a sympathetic ear to vent to. But I haven't wanted to push the socialization, since it seems you're not in a place where you want to do all that much socializing, frankly.
Well, torberg and I are helping--of course--and a friend of mine from Catholic who lives in Silver Spring said he's willing to help us load the truck (he can't follow through to Baltimore because he's got finals to study for).
