[Playing younger versions of your character is not only fun, it's also a good chance to explore their back story. How have they changed? What traits have stubbornly hung on? Are they even more terrible than their grown counterparts? Sweet as a button? Family? How do they interact with others?

There's a small dark-haired boy with big creepy black eyes, sitting quietly at a table and staring at you.

...Or perhaps at the space around you.

((Wee!Taiki looks and acts very similar to... this.))

Another young girl, all gangly, short, and thin as a rail watches the boy for a while. Her hair is pulled back into pig tails and she sits on her chair, swinging her legs in a scissor kick as she can't reach the ground (she's barefoot). She quirks her head, back and forth as she studies the boy. Finally, she hops up and walks over, and sits down across from him.

"-MY- mother always said it was rude to stare. What are you looking at?" She leans forward and raises her brows in an effort to look 'mature'.

"The colors." He replies simply. A calm, quiet, still, blank expressioned little boy of about six (and a half), wearing cotton shorts, a t-shirt, and white slip-on canvas shoes.

She frowns momentarily, but it's not a critical expression, but more a thoughtful expression, which looks almost odd on her young face. She's somewhere around the same age, though she might be younger. She's wearing a modest dress that's slightly too large and it's definitely dirty. "Are the colors special?"

Dot runs in, as per usual, but stops short when she notices the Lack Of Noise. With a cheerful wave, she settles at the table, and asks, 'Is this a Staring Contest? Can I play too?"

It's hard to have a contest when there's nobody staring at you, so she decides to introduce herself. "Hi! I'm Dot! If it's _not_ a staring contest, what are we doing?"

Taiki shifts back on the chair a little when she invites herself over, blinking in surprise and more than a little distracted.

"Just sitting." He replies, gaining momentum the longer that happy-enthusiastic little girl stays within range. "I'm Taiki. We can play if you want."

"Yay! Hi Tie-key! Your name is funny, like my friend Nahcow." Dot claps her hands excitedly, and beams.

"What are we playing? Inside or outside game?"

A suspicious look. Aura deciphering is advanced-level stuff so he can't compare her words to her colors in order to understand what she's saying. All he hears is 'your name is funny'... which is pretty on par for his childhood peer interactions.

So he's just going to go ahead and stare, suddenly mute and guarded. Careful Dot, wee!Lisbeth (his self-appointed angry bodyguard) will jump out of the woodwork and kick your wee self.

A tiny girl with long black hair curls up in a corner to read. She has an over-sized book with her. However it becomes clear after a time that her dark eyes are peering over the top of the book from time to time, as if surveying the scene around her. It is obvious that she is distracted.

This tiny boy with short black hair happens to be timidly climbing the bookshelf, tryyyyying to reach one just beyond his fingertips!

Marce surveys the scene, wondering if she can help him out.

"Hey there's a stool over here," she calls, pointing to a red seat nearby.

Taiki whips his head around when she speaks up, a little afraid that he might be in trouble for climbing furniture at first -- but then he turns and follows where she's pointing, spotting the red step. Carefully climbing down and he hurries to the stool, puuuuushing it over to the bookcase and trying again.

Gettin' that book with the abominable snowman on it! ...And the two others that fall when he overextends himself and pulls his book down. They make a commotion when they hit and he freezes, glancing at Marce.
