Writing Heroes

I would love to be able to write like Charles Dickens. Yes, it's a namby pampy round-about way of writing, but I personally, love it. His character development is phenomenal and when he works on the plot it's nothing but awesome. A Tale of Two Cities is one of my favorites by Dickens, but Our Mutual Friend is working it's way up the list. :P
