K’tanya stretched out on her towel, sunglasses on and a drink close at hand. After a little while she turned over onto her stomach so she could tan evenly.

The sun’s heat baked into her skin, giving her that nice, warm, drowsy feeling, but it was nicely balanced by the snow she was resting on.

While she loved to sunbath, she had never been able to deal with the heat of both sun and sand. So she had gotten her own snow machine and laid out a nice blanket to tan on instead.

It was the best of both worlds.
