Prompt for summer drabbles: 68- Jumping Off aoutlaw321 July 17 2010, 06:24:57 UTC
Muse: Aidan Janson
Title: Jumping off the pier

~

“Canon ball!” Aidan yells before he jumps off the edge of the pool into the deep end.

Wes covers his face from any splashing water that comes his way. As soon as Aidan reappears, Wes shakes his head. “That was weak, babe. I’d only give that 7 out of 10.”

“Come on!” Aidan says with a sigh because he thought that he did really well on that one.

Suddenly their Great Dane, B, jumps off the side of the pool. She goes into the water and creates a big splash.

“Her canon ball was better. I give her a 10.”

Title: Diligence

The fastenings of Kit’s corset are a little confusing for Frank to figure out.

It’s not like he’s from the days of old where taking off layers of dress and a corset comes naturally. She insisted on wearing a period costume, though, and so he’s learning.

Thankfully, it’s easier to get her out of the costume then in. He’s also more motivated by it, as evident by his kiss on her shoulder.

When she pulls his red tie and tells him to leave his mask on, his fingers find themselves working more diligently to get her out of that corset.

Title: Tune

~

It was simple and sweet. No one was around and Frank took an impromptu moment to take his wife in his arms and dance with her.

There was no music, but they didn’t need any because it was all inside their heads. They swayed together and he even managed to twirl her. He was surprised that he was a good dancer, but only with her. Without her, he wouldn’t dance or have fun while doing it.

They danced for about an hour before the tune in their heads was gone. That won’t stop them from dancing again some other day.

Prompt for summer drabbles: 83- Story Book aoutlaw321 July 19 2010, 04:57:02 UTC
Muse: Aidan Janson
Title: (Pick your own) Story Book

~

Aidan looks at his computer screen and sighs softly. He’s halfway through the story that he started called, ‘Through the Wardrobe: The Fellowship of Excalibur.’ However, there’s something that’s holding him back from finishing it. He’s not sure if its writer’s block or sheer laziness, but the words aren’t coming to him. He’s almost done with the next chapter, but he hasn’t finished it in over a year.

It’s not like he’s forgotten about it. He has a constant reminder on his computer screen to write it.

One day he will finish it and it will be great. He promises.
