Ah, I would have to agree. Koi are quite relaxing and beautiful.

...Though I am not sure about letting them nibble on me. Some nishikigoi can become quite large ^_^

I've never seen really big ones, the fishies in the lake at the park are kinda small.

I have a betta fishy at home, he's pretty awesome to watch too, it's like he's dancing in the water or something.

Yes, they can grow very large! They are a special species of carp. In Japan, they symbolize love and friendship, therefore it is very suiting to find them relaxing and enjoyable. ^_^

Ah, I have never seen one in real life (I had to do a web search to know what it was ^^;...) but they seem very lovely! Their fins look like they are cloth...like the fish are wearing dresses in the water, perhaps.

The more you know!

I feed the koi at the park bagels and croissants. Everyone always feeds the ducks and the pigeons but I think I'm the only one that feeds them. They're friendly and come right up to the surface.

Val, that's the name of my fishy, is very pretty. And he's kind of vain. I put a mirror in his bowl and he looks at himself all day long.
