Life's a Beach! Sunset Beach and the Lindgren House

Marilyn and I took a ride today, seeking the sunshine. It was completely socked in right around Seaside (Oregon). And when we headed south (toward Cannon Beach and beyond), it was equally socked in. Fun! We're still living up to our goal of always seeing the actual ocean beach when we come to our Seaside home.

There's no snow on the ground at the moment, but everything is gray and brown. Thank goodness for our big blue skies!

It's so cold right now. With the windchill, we're 10°. Thankfully, Kansas doesn't stick with any weather for very long. We'll rebound to the 50s by Wednesday. Or we'll have a foot of snow. You never know!

I was born in Astoria. I'm sure it would have been warm and sunny... in memory of ME:)

Marilyn looks great! I'm glad you found the sun.
:)
The log home looks like it should be older but I know there were still homesteaders at the beginning of the 20th century. Ohhhh...I see it's Finnish! I'd love to see it inside also.

When you find it, it's surprising to realize it's not that way all over. It's like when we're having amazing summer days -- and it seems like we'll have that weather forever. (Right. Hahahaha.)

The house is pretty cool -- I would love to see the inside. Part of me feels like 1922 wasn't all that long ago. Then I remind myself that it was long before I was born, so... (grin)
