Last night Marilyn and I went to Walmart after she got home from work (around 7:00 p.m.). We bought the new 'NoteTaking' computer for the office. We needed it right away, as it's going to be the computer used for the auction in Denver next week by Ashley.

I need the Office business pack too, alas, because I need the full Outlook version (which I hate) for work. Sigh. I usually try to do everything on open license software, but sometimes... not possible!

Yeah, I pretty much HATE Microsoft (I know, I go on about it waaaay too much) -- but what are we supposed to do? Work means we have to have it. (sigh)

Hi, I just joined a LotR yahoo group which directed me here. Are you still running the LotR groups? Nothing seems to have been happening in any of them for a while. Guess I am very late into the fandom.

Sorry to tell you, but my sister Marilyn and I don't really 'play' at Yahoo! Groups anymore. We used to be really active there, but...

Are you into LOTR slash, by any chance? I can probably recommend you to fanfic to read, if you are...

It's NEVER too late to get into a fandom. I think Marilyn knows more about the LOTR fandom here at LJ. She's been really involved with LOTR slash at various times (and still has stories in the works). Let me know if that interests you, okay?

No worries about staying 'on topic' in my blog. I'm an 'anything goes' type of gal! Hahahahahahaha.
