We had our Writing Circle meeting for December tonight and it was a blast! Jodi couldn't make it (she was singing) -- but she did drop by to bring her story and gift for the exchange. Wow, it all sounds so lovely, I wish I could have been there. And a very nice touch to cut those branches from the Spruce tree to put with the Poinsettias.

I wish you could have been there, too!

I ended up drinking far too much Coquito, and then our friend shared his Pendleton whiskey (which I put in Charlie's special eggnog). I ended up falling asleep on the couch later, feeling a little less than tip-top.

Charlie is crazy the way she does things. She crams so much into the day, finishing everything just under the wire. (She didn't take her shower until 15 minutes before people were due to arrive.) She was outside fixing the tree in the yard and putting the pointsettias in the flower bed in the dark! Still, it somehow works out.

It was a warm and wonderful evening, full of laughter (and some good stories, too). I think you would have found it a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere.

Charlie-you are so correct last night was a great time and I enjoyed the night so much. Thank you so much for getting my gift and for the Barnes and Noble card,Christmas Card, but mostly for the cookies I loved having them so much Your house looked just great and everything was delightful.

I enjoyed the exercise and felt all right about my story, but would like to try and improve my writing with help from my two sisters.

I can't believe that I am sitting with my laptop doing this at Hump's. Wow just like a real person or perhaps a geek.Hehe.

Thank you so much for the help and what fun times we also had at the beach. I hope 2010 will be a great year for all three of us. I will be glad when your final move is done. I can't wait until we go to the movie also. Sue
