Marilyn mistressmarilyn and I both slept in this morning, thankfully. I'm still not recovered from this damn bug and am constantly fatigued, so the more sleep I get the better. And she had another hard, hard week, so I'm sure she could use the sleep

Pepper.

Our cat (who is now alas, gone) was an absolute menance. He didn't climb things, but he loved to chew and destroy, when he was young.

Anything he frequently attacked, we just sprinkled the tiniest bit of pepper around. It only took one or two bad experiences in each place to make him mend his ways.

Of course, I wouldn't suggest putting pepper on your toilet paper. That will end in tears.

I heard a spray bottle with water is a harmless way to control dog or cat situations. Guess that depends on whether or not you have good furniture you don't want to get wet wherever you spray.
Who said you don't have kids??? ~~~ LOL!
