While it's good to see you here, Charlie, I just keep hoping that somehow your pain has lessened or gone away miraculously. I know that doesn't happen but you so don't deserve all you're going through. You're incredible to keep on going and I hope you know that.

I'm glad you have somebody to help you with the housework now. Mikki sounds like an amazing woman.

You're too kind, Donna. I'm just one of many people (so many of them women, by the way) who suffer chronic pain. I always hope I'm not too self centered because of it. I think pain can really narrow the world of someone suffering, because it's difficult to get beyond it. I know I sometimes lean that way, if I'm not careful. But I would hate to become a 'me, me, me' person. I already know I discuss it far too often... The same is true for my blog.

We always joked in my faamily about aging. 'Not for wimps' and so on. I think humor is another great way to muddle through. Hahaha.

Yeah, I keep thinking 'this usually goes away after a year,' and wonder why I'm not one of those people...

Mikki is a gem and needs the work, so it's good for both of us. But it's still hard watching someone else do the work... (grin)

There is a big worry about mosquito borne Encephalitis here where I live. Scary stuff. I'm glad you weren't hit worse with it!
